3/14/09 - Luscious Layers Grand Opening

1/19/09 - iPhone Backgrounds

I recently got an iPhone and have been going crazy making backround wallpaper for it.

1/10/09 - HonestForum.com Updates

I have done a bunch of little projects for HonestForum recently. The first is a picture celebrating having 20,000 members. The second is an image to coincide an election they were having. The last image is for their blog that was to run along side an article about the care of raw denim.

12/4/08 - Have you seen Midnight Meat Train?

I'm sure many of you have missed out on this wonderful epic masterpiece. An eye ball gets squished. It's clearly a family film. Anyway, it becomes clear that a certian angry train rider is inflicted with a bad case of tiny bears. While the movie does not come out and bluntly say that he has tiny bears that are currently ripping his body apart from the insides, they offer no alternative explaination. So I'm sticking with tiny bears. Please see below.

10/14/08 - Thank You Cards

Believe it or not, this is a thank you card. It would be easier to imagine if you fold the image in half between the logo on the left and the car on the right, and then imagine the half with the car being the front.

I am finally done with a big update to lusciouslayers.com, so feel free to head over there and let me know how it looks and if anything needs fixing. Kudos to anyone who can find this fork picture.

9/1/08 - Drawing for Wall

Happy September everybody! It's a good thing too, because fall is coming and I melt like a snow cone in the summer. Here's a little drawing I made up to paint on the wall of a bakery. When the painting is done, I'll update.

8/13/08 - Bosch Pins

I thought I'd throw up a pic of a pin I put together for Bosch tools. So, they gave me this image, that they needed simplified and put in a tiny pin with some verbage.

I came up with this. Nothing flashy, but it's going on a tiny little pin, so I figure it works.

7/15/08 - Updating Luscious Layers

Lusciouslayers.com needs to be updated in a big way. Here's a little taste of what I'm working on.

5/23/08 - OPERATION: GET ME ON KOTAKU

I want desperately to be on Kotaku.com. I've tried before, but even the cake I helped make that made it into Nintendo Power didn't make the cut. So unless I start making video games, the best way I can think to do that is to make pictures that they could use to illustrate common points that they often make. Let me know if you have any ideas of how I can add to this.

5/8/08 - INGREDIENT LIST

I'm up to 35 ingredient icons for the Luscious Layers recipe book. Just like 99% of my artwork, it's all vector. I didn't use any opacity tricks or effects because it tends to slow down my computer. It wouldn't be a big deal, but I want to have all my icons on the same screen so it's quick and easy to make the various recipes by just reaching over and grabbing what I need. So I need all the memory I can get. I also tried to make sure all the icons were still recognizable when shrunk.

Here is what it's looking like:

5/6/08 - RECIPE BOOK

I'm trying to find a good way to simplify Luscious Layers recipes. Since I'm more of a picture person I'm trying to find a way so I can glance at directions without having to actually read them and still follow what's going on. My first step in this processes is making little icons, like this:

kitchen aid mixer

Milk

This is my icon for "time to mix" and "add the milk". So, when I get all these icons done and shove them into the recipe, they'll look like this:

Recipe Page

That should be much easier to read than a damn lined notecard.
